Apollo hides from Hel and Baldr during the day as much as he can until Hel ambushes him outside one of his classes and sees the state of his face. He merely answers with a "Had an unfortunate encounter with one of the starts of our football team. Go Team, Go!", answers, sarcastically.
Hel demands to know who did it, but Apollo doesn't bend.
Later, Baldr sees Apollo and manages to figure out that Thor was the one that beated him up.
Baldr goes talk to his brother and Thor says that the only thing stopping the younger brother to get his ass kicked in school was the fact that he was tthor's brother. Baldr says that he'd take the beatings 'cause he doesn't want to be related to Thor if he's going to act like an animal. Then he walks out.
Ares, new student and new capitain of the team (and easily the strongest), goes talk to him and Baldr says to go ahead (he believed Ares was there to punch him, since he rejected his brother's protection in front of the team). Ares just asks what he meant by 'act like an animal'. Baldr says that it's better if he asks directly to Thor, because the situation involves another person and he doesn't permission to be talking about it (Apollo made him and Hel swear secrecy).
Apollo shows up, annoyed that he had to practically hunt the blond guy down through the school and saying he had to get home and think of a good excuse to give his mother regarding his black eye and swollen face.
It takes only a look to Apollo's face to Ares understand what Thor had done. And that that was something usual in the school and in the team.
Apollo disguises his nervousness and practically drags Baldr towars the parking lot. Before he gets away, however, Ares calls out: "Hey kid!" Apollo turns around. Ares goes on. "If he or anyone else ever bothers you again, tell me. I'll make sure they'll stop."
Apollo scoffed and rolled his eyes. He started to walk away again, turning back to Ares a few steps ahead. "And it's 'Apollo'. Not 'kid'." He smirked and turned back again, hurrying up with Baldr through the hallway.
When they were getting to Apollo's car (a vibrant red convertible), Baldr nudged him. "He's totally your type, isn't he?", asked the blond guy.
"Shut up, Blondie!", but the smirk on his lips was answer enough.
Hel was waiting for them on the car and Baldr wasted no time in telling her everything. They both teased Apollo until he threatened to make his friends walk home.
